BLS Compensation and Benefits Survey
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released the results of the "National Compensation Survey: Employee Benefits in Private Industry in the United States." Some of the findings include: 69% of employers offer paid funeral leave; the average number of paid holidays is 8; and employers pay an average medical premium of $293.25 per month per employee for single coverage. The data is also available broken down by industry and employer size.
